Privacy Policy

FlowTable (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the FlowTable restaurant management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when restaurants and their guests use our services. If you have questions, contact us at admin@flowtable.net.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that restaurants and their guests provide when using our platform:

• Restaurant accounts: business name, owner name, email address, billing information, and subscription details.
• Staff profiles: name, role, clock-in/out records, and scheduling information provided by the restaurant operator.
• Guest information: name, party size, and mobile phone number entered voluntarily on the in-restaurant kiosk or waitlist form when joining a waitlist or making a reservation.

2. SMS / Text Messaging

FlowTable uses SMS to send transactional notifications to guests who check the SMS consent box at a restaurant kiosk, waitlist station, or online booking form. Providing a phone number alone does not enroll a guest in text messaging. These messages include:

• Table-ready alerts when a guest’s table is available
• Reservation confirmations and reminders
• To-go order status notifications
• Wait-time updates during periods of high demand

Mobile number non-sharing policy: Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the transactional notifications described above.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on restaurant activity. Guests typically receive one to a few messages per visit.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.

Opt-out / Help: Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELPfor help. After opting out, you will not receive further SMS from that restaurant’s FlowTable account.

Data retention:Guest phone numbers are stored for the duration of the restaurant’s active subscription and deleted within 90 days of subscription cancellation, or earlier upon written request to admin@flowtable.net.

SMS and Mobile Messaging

FlowTable sends text messages on behalf of the restaurants that subscribe to our service. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are collected directly from end users at the point of opt-in.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Mobile numbers collected for messaging are used solely to deliver the messages the user consented to receive: waitlist status updates, reservation confirmations, and to-go order status notifications. We do not sell, rent, or share this information.

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Replying HELP returns support information. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

3. How We Use Information

• To operate and improve the FlowTable platform
• To send transactional SMS notifications on behalf of restaurants
• To process subscription billing through our payment processor (Stripe)
• To provide customer support

We do not use guest information for advertising, marketing campaigns, or any purpose unrelated to the restaurant visit that generated the data.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the platform:

• Twilio: SMS delivery infrastructure. Guest phone numbers are transmitted to Twilio solely to deliver the messages described in Section 2.
• Stripe: Payment processing for restaurant subscriptions.
• Supabase: Secure cloud database hosting.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and access controls to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at admin@flowtable.net. To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message at any time.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
